FTU Spreading Christmas Cheer

*open and minimize mask in your workspace*

*drop shadow of 1 1 50 3 unless noted*

Open template 132, duplicate, close original

Make your canvas 850 x 850 crop later and delete your cr layer

Make your background layer visible and flood fill w white

On layer 1, selections all, float, defloat

Open paper3, c/p as new layer, invert, delete, deselect, add drop shadow

On layer 2, selections all, float, defloat

Open paper14, c/p as new layer, invert, delete, deselect, add drop shadow

Change paper opacity to 65

On layer 3, selections all, float, defloat

Open paper11, c/p as new layer, invert, delete, deselect, add drop shadow

On layer 4, add drop shadow 2x

Merge layer 6 down to layer 5, selections all, float, defloat

Open paper7, c/p as new layer, invert, delete, deselect, add drop shadow

Open element 56, c/p as new layer, place to left of tag

On layer 7, selections all, float, defloat

Open paper6, c/p as new layer, invert, delete, deselect, add drop shadow

Go to layer 8, open your tube close up, c/p as new layer

Place the tube face so its inside the rectangle

click the inside of rectangle (layer 8) with magic wand

On tube layer - invert - delete - deselect

Xero - porcelain - default but change blue channel to 0

Apply porcelain again, change blend to luminance (L), opacity to 60

Duplicate, change  blend to screen and opacity to 85

On layer 9, selections all, float, defloat

Flood fill with a gold pattern of your choice and add drop shadow

Deselect

Open element

Open element 20, resize by 50%, sharpen, c/p as new layer

place to the right of the tag

Open element (christmas tree is just called silent night element)

c/p as new layer, add drop shadow, keep to the center and bottom some

Open element 38, resize by 75%, sharpen, c/p as new layer, add drop shadow

Place to the left of the tag

Open element 74, resize by 50%, sharpen, c/p as new layer

rotate it to the left some with your deform tool and place to the top left

Open element 42, c/p as new layer, place at bottom of tag, drop shadow

Open element 39, c/p as new layer, place to the right of tag, add drop shadow

Open your tube, c/p as new layer, move to the bottom of tag

effects - porcelain (same as above)

There are tons of cute elements use some take some out of the tutorial.

Whatever floats your boat.

When you are done, close background layer and merge visible

Crop your tag and resize if you want

Open your paper 7, c/p as new layer, move under merged layer

Apply your mask

Layers - new mask layer - from image

Find mask in source window, create by source luminance hit ok

Merge group, duplicate your mask

Add your credits and name
