PTU Valentine

This tutorial was written by me on January 13, 2013.

It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.

I used pspx2 but any version should work without problems.

Let's get started!

Artist: Lix

Got this tube while artist was in PTE

Scrapkit: Merry Valentine by BLT-Dezignz

You can find it in Country Corner Creations HERE

Mask: 84 by WSL Masks

Plugins: xero - radiance, eyecandy - gradient glow

Font: I used All Hearts font and 

File - new - 700x700 fill w white

Open stitches, resize by 50%, then by 75%, sharpen, c/p as new layer

Open your tube close up, c/p s new layer, place under frame

Click inside frame, expand by 1, go to background, add new layer

Flood fill w black, go to tube close-up, invert, delete, deselect

Xero - radiance, change blend to luminance (L)

Add drop shadow of 2 -2 50 5 to frame, close background, merge visible

Open background layer

Using your text tool (all hearts font) - foreground null, background #d41340, 72pt

write Valentine, free rotate to the right by 90 degrees, hit ok

Add eye candy - gradient glow: glow width 3, color medium in black

Add same drop  shadow as above, place to the left of the frame

Open your full-tube, c/p as new layer, place so she's next to the wordart

Open tree, resize by 50%, sharpen, c/p as new layer, place to left of wordart and under it

Open ribbon3, resize by 50%, sharpen, c/p as new layer, place to right

Open coffee, resize by 50% x2 and then by 75%, sharpen, c/p as new layer

Place to the left of the tag

OPen berries, resize by 50%, sharpen, c/p as new layer, place to the right, above background layer

Go to bckground layer, click inside it w magic wand, new layer

Open paper4, c/p into selection, deselect

Layers, new mask layer, from image

Find your mask in source window, hit ok, merge group

Crop your tag to your liking, delete background layer, add credits and name
