PTU Dreams Of an Aquatic Life

This tutorial was written by me on May 11, 2013.

It was made out of my own creation and any similarity is purely coincidental.

I used pspx2 but any version should work without problems.

Template: 256 by me HERE

Plugins: Xero - Radiance

Font: Making Letters Tall

Open template - duplicate - close the original

Delete cr layer, 12, and 13 - make background visible

Click inside layer 1 w magic wand - new layer

Selections - modify - smooth selection

smoothing amount: 10 anti-atlas: checked - hit ok

Open paper13 - c/p into selection - deselect - add drop shadow 0 0 50 3 black

Click inside layer2 w magic wand - new layer

Selections - modify - smooth selection

smoothing amount: 10 anti-atlas: checked - hit ok

Open paper8 - c/p into selection - deselect - add drop shadow

Merge layer 4 down to 3 - click in the circles w magic wand

Selections - modify - smooth selection

smoothing amount: 10 anti-atlas: checked - hit ok

Open paper3 - c/p into selection - deselect - add drop shadow

Click on layer 5 w magic wand - new layer

OPen paper1 - c/p into selection - deselect

Open 89 - c/p as new layer - place to the right

Click on layer 6 w magic wand 

Selections - modify - smooth selection

smoothing amount: 10 anti-atlas: checked - hit ok

Open paper14 - c/p as new layer - invert - delete - deselect

add drop shadow - duplicate - change blend to overlay - merge down

Merge 8 down to 7 - click inside circles w magic wand

Use paper14 again - c/p as a new layer - deselect - add drop shadow

Open 76 - c/p as new layer - place to left - duplicate - place to right

Open 61 - c/p as new layer - place to left - duplicate - place to right

On layer 10

Open your tube - c/p as new layer - move to the right

Place it so face is inside circle of layer 10

Click inside circle of layer 10 w magic wand - new layer

Open paper13 - c/p into selection

On tube layer - invert - delete - invert

new layer - selections - add selections borders

width 2 - both sides ticked - anti-atlas ticked

flood fill with white - adjust - add noise - uniform - 100

Deselect - add drop shadow

Back on tube - xero - radiance (default) settings

Change blend to luminance (L) opacity 66 or put it whatever looks best to you

Merge tube down to paper - merge glittered layer to tube - add drop shadow again

duplicate - image - mirror - place so it covers layer 9 - merge down

Open 97 - c/p as new layer - place to the left a little bit

Open 90 - resize by 50% - sharpen - c/p as new layer - place to right

Open tube - resize by 75% - c/p as new layer

Effects - xero - radiance (default)

Open 68 - resize by 50% 2x - sharpen - c/p as new layer - place bottom left

On layer 11 - selections - select all - float - defloat - new layer

Use paper13 again and c/p into selection - deselect

Add bevel of choice - i used default setting w bevel 2

Duplicate - change blend to screen - merge down - add drop shadow 2x

Open 28 - resize by 50% - sharpen - c/p as new layer

Place to the top left - add drop shadow

Open 23 - resize by 50% 2x - sharpen - c/p as new layer - place to bottom right

Delete background layer - merge visible - add credits and your name
