FTU Arthur Crowe Fanatic Tutorial

This tutorial was written on September 1, 2012.

*This tutorial assumes you have working knowledge of PSP*

Tubes - Arthur Crowe (4 different tubes)
*The one in the center comes with the September Calendar in his store*

Texture - Textures 99 by In the name of stock in deviant art
You can find it HERE
Plugins - Xero - porcelain, Penta - color dot
Template - 42 by me - you can get it HERE
Mask - Savage Mask 8 - you can get it HERE
Font - Carlotta 

Open your template - duplicate it - close the original
Delete Raster 1 (cr layer)
Click on layer 1 with your magic wand
New layer
Flood fill with gradient (Foreground/Background)
*I used red from my tube and black*
*gradient settings: angle 36, repeats 3, linear*
Open your texture - c/p as a new layer
Change blend mode to Luminance (L)
Selections - None

Open your tubes and grab your close up
Resize it if you have to so it can fit in the circle
Copy and paste it as a new layer
Move the tube to the left
Open 2nd tube - resize if necessary - c/p as a new layer
Make the tube face the same direction then place to the left so its next to close up
Open 3rd tube - resize if necessary - c/p as a new layer
Make tube face the same direction and place to the left so its next to 2nd tube
Merge down your tubes so that they are all one layer
Duplicate layer - Image - Mirror
Place both tube layers so that they are fitting inside the circle to your liking
Merge the tube layers together
Effects - Xero - Porcelain - Change blue channel to 0
Rename layer tubes
Duplicate tubes layer and rename new layer tubes2 and close it off for now we'll come back to it later
Click on layer 1 with your magic wand
Click on tubes layer - selections - invert - delete - invert
Change blend mode on the tubes layer to Screen with Opacity 75
New layer - Selections - Modify - Select selections border
settings: both sides, anti-atlas, border with: 1
Flood fill with light gray - adjust - add noise - uniform - 100 - monochrome checked
Selections - None
Drop shadow - 0 0 50 3

Click on layer 2
With your magic wand click inside the black square
New layer - flood fill with gradient (Foreground/Background)
*I used red from my tube and black*
*gradient settings: angle 36, repeats 3, linear*
Open your texture - c/p as a new layer
Change blend mode to Luminance (L)
Selections - None
Click on the red border with your magic wand
New layer - flood fill with gradient
Effects - Plugins - Penta - Color dot
*change value to 255*
Selections - none
Drop shadow - 0 0 50 3

Repeat the same thing with layer 3

Click on tubes2 layer and move it above layer 4
Make layer visible and place it how you would like it to appear inside the CROWE
Make it invisible again
Click on layer 4, with your magic wand click inside the letters on the red part
New layer
Flood fill with gradient (Foreground/Background)
*I used red from my tube and black*
*gradient settings: angle 36, repeats 3, linear*
Open your texture - c/p as a new layer
Change blend mode to Luminance (L)
Click on tubes2 layer and make them visible again
Selections - Invert - Delete 
Selections - None
Change blend mode on the tubes2 layer to Screen with Opacity 75
Click on layer 4
With your magic wand click on the white border
Flood fill with light gray - adjust - add noise - uniform - 100 - monochrome checked
Selections - None
Drop shadow - 0 0 50 3
Click layer 5 - Move the hearts so that they are inside the big circle
Drop shadow and change blend mode to screen 
Repeat for layer 6
Add drop shadow to layer 7 and layer 8
Copy and paste your tube to the middle of the tag
Effects - Plugins - Xero - Porcelain (same settings as before)
Drop shadow
Merge - visible
Open your mask and minimize it
Click on bkgd layer on your tag
New layer
Flood fill with gradient (Foreground/Background)
*I used red from my tube and black*
Same settings as before
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image
Find the name of your mask on the drop down menu
*source luminance - invert mask data unchecked - hit ok*
Merge Group - move mask around to your liking
Delete background layer
Merge - Visible
Add your cr and name 
Done
